North Central CBA - April 23-25, 2008

North Central CBA returned to Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, WI, with keynote speaker Steve McVey of Grace Walk Ministries. Paul Taylor, worship pastor at Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Marion, Iowa, led in times of musical worship. Jill Swanson, author and speaker, spoke to the ladies on “Simply Beautiful-Inside and Out.” This Region now has in place a Regional Covenant of Churches that links the member churches in accountable community. The CBAmerica Statement of Faith has been adopted as the Region’s. On the Board level, discussion has begun for a church planting philosophy and procedure. Mike Wallman, pastor of Hayden Heights Baptist Church was appointed to serve on the National Board of CBAmerica, and the line item budget for CBA was increased again.
