Connected by Grace, United in Mission - Southwest CBA - May 17, 2008

Southwest CBA was hosted by Southwestern College and met under the banner “Connected by Grace, United in Mission” for its Annual meeting. Keynote speakers included Jay Pankratz, Senior Pastor from Sunrise Church of Rialto, CA, with the topic, “The Power of Partnership.” Art Lucero, Adult Ministries Pastor at Sunrise Church in Rialto, presented a simultaneous and identical message in Spanish for the benefit of the large Latino contingent. Gary Thomas from the Center for Evangelical Spirituality spoke on “The Beautiful Fight.” A highlight of the day was a Fiesta celebration with a Mexican buffet and a performance of Mexican dance by the group “Ballet Folklorico.”
